I cannot say enough about the strength training that I have with Eric. He has been methodical, careful, progressive in the routine and fun in the process. I have some physical challenges that require ongoing exercise to maintain and improve, Eric has helped me to get beyond where I thought I could be. It has taken me doing these workouts everyday but I feel great and there is progress. There were days when every muscle hurt...I don't have that anymore. There were days when a half an hour walk was all I could do. Now it's three miles and it feels great. I started this train over weight, with poor muscle tone, down 15 pounds and I can feel improved muscle tone. If you are thinking of getting strong, changing your diet so it feeds you, waking up ready for life...this is a great place to start. Even at 70.
My husband gifted me three training sessions with Eric for my 42nd birthday. I was initially hesitant and rescheduled with Eric several times (thank you for your patience, Eric!). Before I started working with Eric, I was having a lot of back and shoulder pain after long days at work. I was stiff when getting out of bed in the morning and I was dreading getting older. 7 months later, I'm more nimble when I wake up at 5:30 AM, ready for my class. I have more shoulder flexibility and strength than some of the 20 year-olds with whom I work. My back pain has almost completely resolved and I can do more push-ups than I ever thought possible. I cannot wait to reach my goal of pull-ups! Most important to me is that Eric (and every other member) has been supportive, welcoming and non-judgemental. Eric focuses on technique and stresses the importance of recovery and listening to your body, while also encouraging me to push my limits. Thank you, Eric!

The past 2 days I shoveled the snow from my driveway. Not because I had to but because I'm ABLE to. This is why attending Strength and Fundamental Movement classed with Eric is a priority on my schedule. Thanks for making it FUNd!

I started at Tacoma Wellness studio in October of 2020. I had gone through some very hard times and a personal loss and had totally given up on myself when Kelsey was put into my hands. I started with one on ones with her. I was always super intimidated by classes. It just never felt comfortable. As I grew stronger and Kelsey explained the correct movements I got more confident. I expanded to the morning classes with her and Eric. This was when I could see I was getting it. I was keeping up and feeling good. These classes are not like anything I had done before. They watch your form and ask about your body and will accommodate the work out for your needs. I’m so happy seeing the results and overall wellness I have experienced over the last year. I would recommend the Tacoma Wellness Studio to anyone looking for a life change or a care team!
