My husband gifted me three training sessions with Eric for my 42nd birthday. I was initially hesitant and rescheduled with Eric several times (thank you for your patience, Eric!). Before I started working with Eric, I was having a lot of back and shoulder pain after long days at work. I was stiff when getting out of bed in the morning and I was dreading getting older. 7 months later, I'm more nimble when I wake up at 5:30 AM, ready for my class. I have more shoulder flexibility and strength than some of the 20 year-olds with whom I work. My back pain has almost completely resolved and I can do more push-ups than I ever thought possible. I cannot wait to reach my goal of pull-ups! Most important to me is that Eric (and every other member) has been supportive, welcoming and non-judgemental. Eric focuses on technique and stresses the importance of recovery and listening to your body, while also encouraging me to push my limits. Thank you, Eric!

Eric is that rare combination of inspiration, determination, organization and humor. I came to Tacoma Wellness Studio with a concern that I didn't have the fitness level to take on a demanding course. But Eric allayed my fears, encouraging me as I embarked on a rigorous and well designed program to improve my strength and mobility. I'm in my early 70s and have been working on fitness training for six years, the past five with Eric. At my age, weight and balance training are key to strength and mobility. And it shows! A new massage therapist commented on my muscle tone last week, noting that it's unusual for my age group! Thank you, Eric, for all the encouragement and (dreaded) push ups. It's paying off!

Hey Eric, I just wanted to say hey and update you on my progress! First off I want to say thanks for all of your mentorship, I've gained notoriety with my friends in regard to my body recomposition and they actually are asking me for advice and help. I'm hitting personal records on a consistent basis. I hit a squat PR of 230 and a deadlift of 250. With solid form too mind you. I actually got my body fat percentage tested the other day and I finally hit my goal of 11% body fat. With college classes starting I finally feel good to maintain weight, and focus on school as well as my physical health. I just wanted to update you and say thanks, you can count me as another success story!

I'm starting to emerge from 2 years of sitting in front of a screen 10+ hours a day toward pain-free movement. Trainer Eric Davis is a major feature in this effort. With some injuries to protect while strengthening, Eric's been phenomenal in working with me every session to see what's possible and to support gradual, safe progress. After feeling pretty demoralized for so long, I feel like myself, again. If you have an interest in getting strong safely, with smart movement and workouts that are really well-designed, hit up Eric. No matter what your fitness, history of exercise, age, anxiety about gyms, etc. He will put you at ease right away and help you grow. He's the best coach I've ever had.
